Nostalgia

Instead of the usual music review, I decided to take a series of photographs to express my thoughts. Why don't we use CDs anymore? Sure, buying an album off iTunes is more convenient, but isn't it nice to hold something tangible, something real? Throughout the years, my family has acquired a number of CDs, so I decided to share a few pictures. Enjoy!

As much of the collection I could fit into my camera lens

That's all for now.
Keep listening.

  2. It's because people don't care about music quality that much anymore.
The sad thing is, GOOD audio equipment costs a lot, prices that only older people would pay for. However, by that time, hearing loss will have already greatly affected the quality of the sound the person hears.
CDs, in general, have much better quality than what iTunes will usually sell to you. But, nonetheless, the cheap price seems to entice the millions that use their service. ..that is, assuming, they're PAYING for their music. :P haha

  4. Hahha, Aditi! We have a few rows of CDs just like this at our house, but what's even cooler is that we have a bunch of records too! And a record player!!! Though most of them are in Russian....but I listened to records all the time when I was little!

  6. I know what you mean! I LOVE buying CDs, but sometimes I kind of feel like I shouldn't be using all that money when it'll be going on my itunes anyways...
